MLB.com Updates

There is a league-wide initiative to celebrate the 100th anniversary of "Take Me Out to the Ball Game." Soliciting artists to record their own version to video to place at www.mlb.com/babyruth. Also looking to cut together a line each from a few artists in one video for display on stadium Jumbotrons. Ends June 30th. Some current participants include Jimmy Buffet, Train, REO Speedwagon.

Their in-studio recording program is scheduling 2 big acts a month now. Also launching a similar Hot Prospects section at www.mlb.com/entertainment to focus on breaking bands. Doing 2 per month, more with label underwriting. Am looking to include The Parlor Mob, Theory, and Airbourne if possible.

New, quick program for MLB.com Highlights. Will combine music with highlight reels on site, which are also syndicated to and often picked up by television. Would require a very short form promotional license. Am positing TPM up front for this one as well as other on-going acts. This can be a rolling promo between us.

Theory of a Deadman's "Got It Made" on the JVC Mobile Website

Sent by Elias:

Theory of a Deadman's "Got It Made" will be featured on JVC Mobile's web site starting on 4/15 at www.mobile.jvc.com.

On their homepage the song will come up instantly. It will be the only song played on the homepage for the next 12 months. They chose the song because of the lyrical lean, the fact that it rocks and it's a good fit for their mobile push.

The band name, song title and album title will be on the player and a launch button featuring the artwork and a link to their website will be in place.
