Xbox Live Updates

Theory of a Deadman and Opeth have both been submitted for Xbox Live's Artist of the Month program, which reaches millions of gamers via the Xbox Live service.

As well, Airbourne and The Parlor Mob were submitted for the new emerging artists program, which is similar to the Artist of the Month program, but for developing artists. Airbourne has been accepted for June and we're working on the particulars!

ClearChannel NEW! May

De Novo Dahl, Dresden Dolls, and The Parlor Mob have all been submitted for the May round of ClearChannel's NEW! program.

MLB.com Updates

There is a league-wide initiative to celebrate the 100th anniversary of "Take Me Out to the Ball Game." Soliciting artists to record their own version to video to place at www.mlb.com/babyruth. Also looking to cut together a line each from a few artists in one video for display on stadium Jumbotrons. Ends June 30th. Some current participants include Jimmy Buffet, Train, REO Speedwagon.

Their in-studio recording program is scheduling 2 big acts a month now. Also launching a similar Hot Prospects section at www.mlb.com/entertainment to focus on breaking bands. Doing 2 per month, more with label underwriting. Am looking to include The Parlor Mob, Theory, and Airbourne if possible.

New, quick program for MLB.com Highlights. Will combine music with highlight reels on site, which are also syndicated to and often picked up by television. Would require a very short form promotional license. Am positing TPM up front for this one as well as other on-going acts. This can be a rolling promo between us.

The Parlor Mob - First Week Digital Sales News

Another Roadrunner first.

We released our first album digitally prior to a physical release with The Parlor Mob's AND YOU WERE A CROW with great initial success. Although on the surface this number may seem low what is incredible is that this band is literally starting from ground zero. No previous touring, no previous releases, no real fan base outside of Red Bank, NJ and we sold over 600 albums in their first week of release.

Check out some quotes from iTunes where the average rating was "5 Stars":

"I saw this band twice at SXSW and this is by far the best band I have seen live. That's a BIG statement, as I have seen thousands of band's live - but this band plays twice as good live as they do on the album - and they sound great on this album. I'd rate this album with 6 stars if I could"

"This album blindsided me because I had never heard of them. Just think Wolfmother but instead of 4 good songs, the entire album is awesome"

"Could Easily be mistaken for a new White Stripes CD" -

"WOW, This band right here gives me confirmation I needed that everything in the rock genre won't just be pop rock or punk rock and can actually be good! Definitely buying this"

"First time I've ever heard of them. I feel sort of left out now. White Stripes meets Led Zeppelin"

"Music speaks for itself. Shit is Legit"

Some hard facts to know:
The band has been on tour with Nicole Atkins for the last month and the tour ends at the end of this month.
We have a Residency Tour in the works starting in late April. Markets to include Boston, Philly, DC, NYC, Burlington, VT, Baltimore.
Band is CONFIRMED for LOLLAPALOOZA this Summer.
We will have a video for "Cant Keep No Good Boy Down", along with an EPK , by Mid April .
